Fethiye & Çalış – Fethiye is a lively town that offers you everything you need. There are cafes, restaurants and a lively market place along the beach. From here all beaches can be easily reached by public transport. You can reach Calis, this windy beach town, with just a short bus ride from Fethiye, or for a more active option, you can take a 25-minute walk along the coastal path. You have a choice of various restaurants and cafes/bars. In late August and early September, you may also see some sea turtles coming ashore to lay their eggs.

Kayaköy & Gemiler Koyu – This beautiful village Kayaköy is also known as the ‘Ghost Village’. It was once a vibrant community where Turkish and Greek citizens lived side by side. After the war of independence in the 1920s, the Greek people in Kayaköy returned to Greece, and the Turks in Greece returned to Turkey. Since there were many more Ottoman Greeks, many towns were abandoned and empty after the population exchange. While Kayaköy was a town of 2000 stone houses, it is now famous for its abandoned houses. Gemiler Bay is located in a quiet and peaceful bay and is rarely crowded. Reaching it from the town of Hisarönü requires a short car ride, bus ride or boat ride. The beach is surrounded by tobacco and wheat fields and pine and olive trees. The beach also has a small snack bar and terrace open all year round, allowing visitors to dip their toes in the warm waters of the Aegean Sea. Ölüdeniz & Hisarönü – Ölüdeniz is a magnificent bay with one of the most beautiful beaches in Türkiye. Ölüdeniz’s main beach is bordered by an attractive coastal path lined with small shops, cafes and restaurants and is ideal for a great beach holiday. Ölüdeniz’s Blue Lagoon, with its calm and crystal clear waters, is an ideal place for various water sports and a safe swimming area for children. Part of the lagoon is now a protected area (a national park) with a wonderful inland bay that you can enter with a small entrance fee. Efes & Pamukkale – The enormous ruins in Ephesus (25,000-seat amphitheater, Celsus Library, Marble road, latrines and ruins of the Temple of Artemis, one of the Seven Wonders of the World) are fascinating. Pamukkale (Cotton Castle) is a very eye-catching natural wonder with its calcium travertines. You can dip your feet in its healing waters. Behind it lies the ancient city of Hierapolis, which has a large necropolis and a well-preserved amphitheater. It requires a lot of travel, but it will be worth it.

Dalyan – Dalyan is only 1 hour and 15 minutes away from Fethiye. A river boat takes you on a cruise through the reed-fringed delta, passing Lycian rock tombs along the way and reaching the famous mud baths. Traveling along the river, you can relax at Istuzu beach, known as a turtle breeding ground.

Kalkan – Imagine a village nestled against the mountains, full of colorful bougainvilleas, with narrow stone streets leading down to a small harbour.
